Annie’s Story

The Learning Disability Diamond Standards have been developed to deliver high-quality, reasonably adjusted care to people with a learning disability. A short, animated case study, ‘Annies Story’ was commissioned to showcase how the Diamond Standards Acute Care Pathway worked effectively during Annie’s admission, treatment, and discharge from hospital.
A sensitive approach was taken, featuring a muted colour palette, low-key animation, sound, and audio to engage viewers as they listen to Annie’s experience.
The Learning Disability Network team presented the animation at their national awards dinner, having been shortlisted for a major prize!
